The next, 34th International Symposium of the Section IV of CIGR is coming.

Workshop on Bio-Energy

workshop image Along with the Symposium, we have invited special guests from the USA. They will perform a 2013 WORKSHOP ON BIO-ENERGY AND BIO-FUELS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE GLOBAL ECONOMY. It will take place in the same location, on September 17th, 2013.

This workshop will be held in pararell with similar one, performed in Brisbane, Australia.

The main topics of the Workshop are:

  • Cellulose and non-cellulosic ethanol – costs, benefits and obstacles (technical, policy etc.) to further development;
  • Algal capture of CO2 to produce of biodiesel and other fuels;
  • Plant based chemical feedstocks and high value precursors;
  • Capture of energy from livestock and urban waste (sewerage, compostable household refuse etc.)
  • Impact of government policy, legislation and regulations on employing biorenewables.

Call for papers

The next, 34th CIGR Section IV Symposium Meeting to be held in Cracow, Poland 16-18 September, 2013. This conference is organized by Faculty of Power Engineering and Energetic at University of Agriculture in Cracow, Poland.

We have just sent our first announcement and Call for papers notification. We hope to have a numerous response from our potential attendees.

We invite you to take part in our scientific event – all accepted papers will be published in a conference materials. We are going to submit symposium proceedings to be indexed by Web of Science.
